What makes our handmade soap so special?
Handmade “cold processed” soap is the natural way of producing a rich, moisturising bar of soap. At Ruby Red, we give you the choice, you can either buy some of the gorgeous aromatic, Organic Soap we made for you earlier or learn how to make Natural Soap for yourself.
Great aromatic Organic Soaps
Traditionally made from the very best soil association certified organic vegetable oils, with all the glycerine retained, these luxurious soaps do not contain detergent or synthetics. If you have never used a natural soap before, you are going to be surprised at the difference from mass-produced bar of soap.
Made in small batches to ensure the freshness of the soap with rich, gentle, creamy lather; soft and moisturising for the skin. The natural fragrances are all created from organic essential oil blends.
Wrapped in planet friendly cotton and rafia, each soap makes a great gift. Choose from the great aroma of Lavender and Sweet Fennel, Lemongrass and Vetiver or Peppermint and Eucalyptus.
Make your own Organic Soap Beginners Workshop
At the workshops, Martine will show you is how to make “cold process” soap, this is a traditional way of making soap where vegetable oils are saponified. This process creates moisturising ‘glycerine’ which remains in your soap to soften your skin. In mass produced soap making, the glycerine is extracted and sold as a valuable bi-product.
Cost for the workshop is £ 95.00p including VAT and includes all your organic soap making ingredients and equipment, Ruby Red’s “easy guide to home soap making”, lunch and your own special organic soap to take home (300g).
For more information on the workshop, you can either click on the soap workshop image opposite or call the Ruby Red phone 07 526 526 909 or email Ruby Red for a booking form.
All workshops take place in North London, a stone’s throw from tube station.
